In response to the lack of affordable studio space in Chichester a group of local artists have set up a non-profit organisation called Studio4Artists to provide a complex of low-cost visual arts facilities for fine artists and designers living in the district.

Studios4Artists are currently working with English Partnerships and Chichester District Council to ensure that the proposed redevelopment of the Graylingwell hospital site includes a building for 40 studio units, with selected workshop facilities and a gallery space.
